Temi Wilkey and Celine Lowenthal founded Pecs way back in 2013.
Celine Lowenthal is a London-based theatre director. She trained in directing at Birkbeck College and The Crucible, Sheffield, and is the Associate Director of award-winning Shadwell Opera. She also co-edits Moot Press, Bristol- and London-based publishers of poetry and photography.
Director credits include: Let's Talk About Sex (Camden People’s Theatre), Twice Through the Heart (Hackney Showrooms), Into the Little Hill (The Courtyard), Kreutzer vs. Kreutzer (Crucible Studio), The Overcoat (Clapham Omnibus) and Canada (The Pleasance).
Assistant/Associate credits include: The Distance (Orange Tree Theatre), Labyrinth (Hampstead Theatre), Racing Demon (Bath Theatre Royal), The Penal Colony (Arts Theatre West End), Showboat (The Crucible/West End) and Roundelay (Southwark Playhouse).
Temi Wilkey is an actor, theatre maker and drag king from North London. She studied English at Clare College, Cambridge before training with the National Youth Theatre REP company in 2014. Her theatre credits include How to Hold Your Breath at the Royal Court, The Comedy of Errors at the National Theatre and she has recently finished a year-long contract with the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she performed in both Hamlet and Cymbeline. Daisy Hale and Ellen Spence are our Co-Producers, keeping us in check with a serious Bromance.
Daisy is a London based producer, creative and mentor, her interests surround representing the unheard of or unseen narratives of today. Daisy joined Pecs in October 2016 as their producer prior to this, she completed an MA in Creative Producing at Mountview Academy of Theatre in 2016 and was selected to be one of the British Council and Edinburgh Fringe Emerging Producers 2016. She also guest-lectures at Fordham University in alternative contexts for traditional texts. Daisy is mentored by the Royal Court Theatre and was previously the Assistant Creative Producer for Millfield Arts Centre. She is currently the Associate Producer of the Gerry's Studio at Theatre Royal Stratford East. On occasion her charming Drag Alter-Ego Oscar Milde makes an appearance at parties, and he's thinking about getting on stage sometime soon. See more at www.the-hale.com
Ellen is an artist and producer of creative events based in Edinburgh and London who joined Pecs as a producer in January 2017. Ellen is a Projects Producer for Brainchild Festival, founder of long running queer party Hey QT and Assistant Producer for Canadian international touring company Selfconscious productions, also managing their 6-show venue at the Edinburgh Fringe. She splits her time between activist projects and trying to consolidate her love of accessible community showbiz and an early bedtime. Ellen is currently the only full time lady in the Pecs team.
